Klara Throw

Made.com, 2017

Developed in collaboration with Made.com, Kumo is a woven wool throw designed in 2017 for the brand's contemporary home textiles collection.

Beginning with hand-woven sampling, I explored a range of weave structures to create a richly textured surface with depth and movement. These samples were refined into production-ready weave designs for manufacture.

The finished throw and cushion celebrates the tactile qualities of woven textiles, combining materiality, craftsmanship and contemporary design in a piece created for modern interiors.
